At heart of the Drôme des Collines, on edge of Drôme and Isère departments, this region has a rich heritage and wealth of local produce. Just 6km from the famous Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval. Not quite 13km from the Foyer de Charité founded by Marthe Robin (20th century French mystic) in Châteauneuf-de-Galaure. 30 minutes from Saint-Antoine abbey. Galaveyson guesthouse is an excellent departure point for hiking/walking expeditions and waymarked cycle tracks. 30 min. from Tain-l'Hermitage (Valrhôna Chocolate visitor centre, famous wines) and Romans-sur-Isère (International Shoe Museum).
Galaveyson guesthouse (up to 6 people) just a few hundred metres from centre of village, view of the Mont-Blanc. 1st floor: family suite of 3 separate bedrooms (2 single beds OR king-size bed) (double bed) (double bed) and little lounge (TV for guests). Large shower room (walk-in shower), separate WC. Living room open to guests. Breakfast and table d'hôte meals, prepared by Marie-Laure, are convivial occasions featuring local produce: 'ravioles' (local form of ravioli), 'pogne' (a kind of brioche), honey, Côtes-du-Rhône wine, etc. Cyclists and motorbikers welcome (closed garage).

Étape très agréable avec des propriétaires bien sympathiques. L’etage Pour nous seul, chambre très confortable avec petit salon attenant. Le dîner et petit déjeuner étaient très copieux . Adresse à recommander .

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Marie Laure et Éric sont charmants et on sent qu’ils ont à cœur de faire plaisir à leurs « clients ».Marie Laure est très bonne cuisinière. Elle cuisine avec amour, ça se voit à la présentation soignée de ses plats. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. L’espace qui nous est dédié est très propre et confortable. Rien à redire, juste à y aller .
