paradise for keen walkers, not to mention for plant
and animal life, the Natural Park of Vercors is
a vast area catering for all outdoors activities
including horse riding, climbing and caving.
There are mountain resorts to be visited with your
family, in winter (more than 300km of marked slopes
for cross-country skiing) as in summer.
Man has left his mark over the centuries with abbeys,
museums and monuments which stand as testimony to
the resistance.
Roads are cut out of the cliff, such as the Grands
Goulets or Combe Laval.
